Circadian Cycles

Circadian cycles, also known as circadian rhythms, in their common meaning represent physical, mental and behavioral changes that occur in our body in approximately 24 hours, and are marked by our internal biological clock.
They are mainly determined by the alternation of day and night, and therefore by the presence of sunlight or darkness.
Almost all the tissues and organs of our body are endowed with a biological clock, and all of them are coordinated by the central clock located in the hypothalamus, and constituted by a group of about 20000 neurons that form the so-called supraquiasmatic nucleus.
>> The circadian cycles influence several bodily functions, of which the most important are:
The sleep-wake rhythm
The release of hormones
Sensations of hunger-satiety and digestion
Body temperature
The sleep-wake rhythm is undoubtedly the most obvious aspect of circadian cycles.
>> In the hygienist definition of health sciences, circadian cycles have a slightly different meaning, since a day is divided into 3 cycles of 8 hours each.
FIRST CYCLE - INTERNAL CLEANSING OF THE BODY (04:00 - 12:00)
DEPURATIVE CYCLE
We start with the morning cycle which runs from 4 am to 12 pm and is predominantly depurative.
The body focuses mainly on the elimination of toxins
That’s why natural hygienists eat fruits with a high water content in the morning... or even fast.
SECOND CYCLE - BALANCE OF CALORIES (12:00 - 20:00)
APPROPRIATIVE CYCLE
The second day cycle runs from 12:00 to 20:00 and here lunch, snack and dinner are concentrated.
This is the time your body absorbs and processes nutrients better.
THIRD CYCLE - THE NIGHT CYCLE (20:00 - 04:00)
ASSIMILATION CYCLE
The body is primarily focused on assimilating all the nutrients it has taken and then decomposed, and now uses them for maintenance, growth, and repair.
As good as they are, the two daytime cycles mentioned above may contain errors, since they include human judgements and prejudices of all kinds.
The night cycle knows no imperfections because the body works much more at night than during the day and does it perfectly and autonomously.
